Andrew Dekowski was named MSC Women's Bowling Assistant Coach of the Year, announced conference officials Thursday.
The Assistant Coach of the Year award is brand new to MSC bowling, and Dekowski's inaugural distinction is well deserved. In his second season alongside Head Coach
Bobby Brown, Dekowski has played a critical role in the teams ongoing success.
In his first year with the Bears, Dekowski aided the Bears to their ninth-straight regular season MSC title and the program's fifth conference tournament championship. Thus far in the 2021-22 campaign, the Bears have claimed five tournament titles, seven top-five finishes, and several individual titles.
Hailing from New Jersey, Dekowski has a long history in the bowling world including his collegiate career with the renowned club team at William Paterson University where he was a two-time All-American.
