Great Week Earns Feltner First MSC Player Of The Week Honor

Bowling Green, KY - The Mid-South Conference announced their Women's Basketball Player of the Week Monday afternoon and UPIKE's Sierra Feltner was honored for the Bears. UPIKE went 3-0 last week and also saw head coach Clifton Williams pick up his 100th victory with the Bears. Feltner has now scored double-digit points in five straight games. This is her first career MSC Player of the Week honor.

Feltner began the week playing in her hometown of Williamsburg, KY against University of the Cumberlands by putting together a career performance. She scored a career-high 23 points on 8-16 shooting against the Patriots, with 18 points coming in the second quarter. She added four assists, two steals, one rebound, and one block in the win.

On Thursday evening against Lindsey Wilson College, Feltner scored 13 points along with grabbing four rebounds, dishing out one assist and having a steal. On Saturday afternoon against Cumberland University, she had a team-high 17 points on 7-14 shooting. She added four assists, three rebounds, and a steal in the UPIKE victory.

The Bears return to action tonight at 6:00 p.m. against No. 2 Thomas More University to begin the final week of the regular season. They will then travel to Freed-Hardeman University for a game on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET before their final regular season game at (RV) Bethel University Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. ET.
