Crestview Hills, KY – The University of Pikeville women's tennis team lost a hard-fought match Saturday evening at Thomas More University, 6-1.
Andrea Hurtado claimed the lone win for UPIKE, beating Cassie Saner at No. 2 singles 7-5, 6-1 for her seventh singles win of the year, which leads the team.
Luisa Diaz won the first set on court three singles but was unable to hold on and dropped the match.
Gabriela Guacanes and
Riley Mullins also won sets, but fell in their matches.
