Pikeville, KY – The University of Pikeville women's tennis team lost to the (RV) Tennessee Southern Firehawks Thursday evening at Bob Amos Complex, 4-0.

The Firehawks took the doubles point before taking the first three singles matches. Andrea Hurtado nearly claimed set one of her match at No. 1 singles, but ultimately fell 7-5. Court three doubles, court four singles, court five singles, and court six singles were all not in action during the match.

UPIKE now sits at 6-6 overall and 2-5 in the Mid-South Conference heading into tomorrow's match at Thomas More University, set to begin at 4:30 p.m. Last season, the Saints claimed a close 4-3 match over the Bears in Pikeville.
