Black Mountain, NC – Noah Thomas and Valerie Kendrick traveled to Montreat College this afternoon to compete at the Last One Best One meet.

After winning the Mid-South Conference title in the hammer throw on Sunday, Thomas was back in action in the event today. He finished fourth with a throw of 48.77m.

Kendrick competed in the discus throw for the Bears, crushing her personal best by over a meter, and coming away with a mark of 41.07m. This gave her a third-place finish.

The Bears will have one final shot to qualify for nationals next Saturday, May 14th when they travel to Rio Grande, Ohio for the Rio Grande Last Chance Invitational.
