The NAIA has announced its honorees for the 2023-24 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track and Field Scholar-Athletes, and a University of Pikeville player was included.
 
The 2024 list features 1,203 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution.
 
To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must:
 

• Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and,
• Have attended one full year at the institution

 The players from UPike who have achieved the honor are:
 

• Heaven Carver, a sophomore from West Liberty who competes in hurdles and sprints
