Bowling Green, Ky. – Officials of the Mid-South Conference have announced the 2023 MSC eSports Academic All-Conference honorees. The Champions of Character Teams were announced as well. 

A student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter to qualify for this award. The 2023 Mid-South Conference eSports Academic All-Conference honorees for the University of Pikeville are James Donnici, Kolby Newsome and Kyle Elkins. 

The Mid-South Conference Champions of Character Team recognizes one student-athlete from each, chosen by their coaches for exhibiting leadership on campus, the community, and demonstrating the five core values embraced by the NAIA. Representing the University of Pikeville on the 2023 MSC Champions of Character Team is Kyle Elkins. 

The announcement from the MSC is a big one for UPIKE eSports, who are coming off their second consecutive Mid-South Conference title.
