PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The UPIKE Esports Valorant team took first place at their most recent tournament. 

Their were eight teams in the tournament. Bears advanced past the the Little Bears in the quarterfinal round by a final count of 13-3.

In the semifinal round, the Bears downed the Phantom Troupe squad 13-5. In tournament finals, the Bears edged out a close, 13-11 victory to take championship. 

Coach Gordy Gregg was very after the tournament win and is excited for the team to enter Mid-South Conference play. The Bears will start MSC competition starting on February 5th.
