PIKEVILLE, Ky. - UPIKE women's tennis improved to 5-0 after a 4-0 win over Truett McConnell.  

Lilia Jerry and Yazmin Barrios got doubles play started with a 6-2 win. TMU tied the doubles score with a 6-3 win over Sara Contreras and Hannah Thompson. With the doubles point on the line, Azul Barrios and Gabriela Guacanes rolled to a 6-0 win to put UPIKE up 1-0 in the match.  

Lilia Jerry won 6-2, 6-0 to start off the singles matches. Yazmin Barrios put UPIKE up 3-0 in the match with a 6-0, 6-2 win. With the match on the line, Azul Barrios gave UPIKE the victory with a convincing, 6-0, 6-0 win.  

UPIKE is now 5-0 (2-0 AAC) following the victory. The Bears will take on SCAD-Atlanta at home Sunday.
