WALESKA, Ga. - Officials of the Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Monday afternoon that University of Pikeville men's track and field sophomore Zeke Hagley is this week's AAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. 

The announcement from the AAC comes after Hagley's strong performance at the Centre Indoor Showcase on Saturday. Hagley won the shot put event and set a new facility record after recording a 15.81m throw. In the weight throw, Hagley came in second after a 16.17m toss.  

Monday's announcement is Hagley's second player of the week honor in a row and the third of his career. Hagley earned player of the week last week after qualifying for the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Nationals.  

Hagley and the track and field Bears will hit the road Saturday for Springfield, Ohio, for the Steemer Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University.
