WALESKA, Ga. – Four members of the University of Pikeville men's soccer team were named all-conference on Wednesday afternoon when the AAC announced its honorees.

In addition, one player was named to the Champions of Character team and the Bears had 19 members of the Academic All-Conference Team.

Bruno Arenal was named to the league's first team, while teammates
Juan Farkas,
Yali Cohen and
Amogelang Mofokeng were on the second team.

Arenal is a sophomore midfielder from Suances, Spain. He led the Bears with 10 goals and tied for the team lead with four assists on the season. He was one of only three AAC players with at least 10 goals and finished third in the conference with 24 points.

Farkas is a junior defender from Santiago, Chile. He scored three goals and tied Arenal with four assists. Cohen is a junior midfielder from Tel Aviv, Israel, who had three goals and an assists on the season. Mofokeng is a junior midfielder from Rustenburg, South Africa.

Lucas Gibson was named to the Champion of Character team. Gibson is a sophomore defender from Hyden. The team is comprised of players who best represent their team in the five core values the NAIA embraces, which are respect, integrity, responsibility, servant leadership and sportsmanship.

Arenal, Farkas and Gibson were three of the 19 players who made the All-Academic Team. These student-athletes are at least a sophomore academically who have a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
