KANSAS CITY, Mo. - University of Pikeville women's tennis checked in at No. 25 in the most recent NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Poll.
The poll came out Wednesday afternoon and saw the Bears climb from RV to No. 25. The last poll came on February 26th, and since then the Bears went 4-1, with their sole loss coming Monday at the hands of No. 19 Cumberlands (Ky.).
UPIKE still remains undefeated in AAC play. On top of the Bears' new ranking, they also received some individual accolades. Senior Lilia Jerry is ranked No. 42 and junior Natalia Geraldine Salinas is ranked No. 75 in the ITA singles rankings.
Coach Cailee Marcum's squad will take to the court again Saturday for an AAC home match against the Milligan Buffaloes at Bob Amos Park.
