KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released its All-America basketball teams on Monday, and University of Pikeville guard
Allie Stone was included.

Stone, a 5-6 junior from Olive Hill, Ky., was a third-team selection.

"Allie had a sensational season for us, and we're very proud of her," said Coach
Clifton Williams. "She is a leader on and off the court and we're glad to see her get this kind of national recognition. She is blessed to be a part of a remarkable group of players and that team is blessed to have her as a member. "

Stone averaged 21.9 points per game this season, as the Bears completed a 19-9 season.

The AAC player of the year, Stone also averaged 3.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game this season. She shot 49.5 percent from the field, made 44.9 percent of her three-point shots and connected on 91.7 percent from the free throw line.

Last week, Stone learned she was also named an NAIA All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Her three-point shooting, which was 70 for 156 on the season, broke her own school record of 42.6 percent which she established as a sophomore.

The junior was also on the WBCA's All-America team as a sophomore.

Stone began this season 26
th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,067 points. She will start her senior season with 1,679 points, which is No. 9.

She was joined on the third team by Milligan's Jaycie Jenkins as the only representatives from the AAC.

Stone will enter her senior season with 1,679 points in her career, which is ninth on the school's all-time scoring list. She is currently 654 points she of Renee Brewer's school benchmark of 2,333.
