Men's Track and Field Wyatt Oxley

Track and field competes at AAC Outdoor Championships

MILLIGAN, Tenn. - University of Pikeville men's and women's track and field competed at the 2025 AAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend.  

On the men's side, Zeke Hagley took third place in the discus throw with a 45.53m throw. Alex Rogers finished one spot behind Hagley in the same event with a 45.36m throw. In the hammer throw, Hagley took second with a 51.44m mark. Aaron Coffey took third with a 49.28m throw and Rogers came in ninth with a 44.41m mark.  

Zach Mason competed in the high jump. Mason recorded a 1.85m lead and earned four team points for taking fifth place. Mason also finished seventh in the triple jump. In the shot put, Hagley finished fifth with a toss of 13.96m and Tenzing Lindeman came in eighth with a 13.14m mark. As a team, the men's track and field squad had 36 total team points and finished ninth.  

On the women's side, Heaven Carver competed and finished fourth in the 100m hurdles. Carlie Osbourne took third in the 400m dash and earned six team points for the Bears. Valerie Kendrick recorded a 34.31m throw in the discus and came in ninth place. UPIKE finished the conference championships with 15 total points and were tied for eleventh place.
