NEW ORLEANS, La. – Officials of the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their individual and team academic awards for 2025 Monday.
For a track and field team to earn academic honors, they must have a collective cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The UPIKE men's track and field team as well as the UPIKE women's track and field team were both honored for their hard work in the classroom.
For an individual student athlete to earn this award, they must meet certain academic and athletic criteria. The academic criteria is they must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and they must have completed as least two semesters or three quarters at their institution. Athletically, an athlete must have achieved an "A" or "B" standard in a championship event. The 2025 USTFCCCA academic honorees from UPIKE track and field are junior
