UPIKE Esports League of Legends Suffer Second Straight Loss

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – League of Legends took on Shawnee State University looking to improve to 3-1. However, this did not pan out for the Bears.

UPIKE's story of the series was small mistakes being made over and over again, but the Bears did not go down without a fight.

Game one saw the Bears put themselves behind early with bad fights being taken. These bad fights did not stop UPIKE from having some good objective control in the early game. When the middle of the game approached it saw the Bears failing to be in the right places at the right time and taking more bad fights and allowed Shawnee to have control of the game. Shawnee struggled to close it out as UPIKE fought tooth and nail to get a comeback but fell short. Game one ended with a game time of 33 minutes and 49 seconds.

Game two was a good early game for the Bears again as they had early objective control across the map, but this did not last long as Shawnee found great fights as soon as the mid-game began. These two fights in the middle of the game saw Shawnee take full control and push their gold lead to 8,000 and did not let it drop. Game two ended with a game time of 29 minutes and 27 seconds.
