Taylor led the way in the weight throw, hitting a mark of 13.10m to win the event. Right behind her was Scarlett, who finished second with a throw of 12.76m, which is a personal best. Also competing were Kendrick and Tackett, who recorded marks of 9.84m and 7.86m, respectively.
Kendrick guided UPIKE in the shot put, winning the event with a 12.28m throw. This gives her two consecutive wins in the shot put dating back to last week in Marietta. Taylor recorded a mark of 9.32m while Tackett (8.85m) and Scarlett (8.66m) also competed for the Bears.
"It was a great way to end the semester" said UPIKE head coach
