Bowling Green, KY – The Mid-South Conference announced the cheerleading Academic All Mid-South Conference and Champions of Character teams this afternoon. In order to be nominated for academic all-conference, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.

Overall, seven Bears were honored. These athletes are Sydni Eldridge, Aryn Fannin, Karlee Kincer, Alyssa Sargent, Aariana Sparks, Chloe Sturgill, and Celia Wiedel.

Eldridge, Sturgill, and Wiedel all earn the honor for the second straight year while it is the first honor for Fannin, Kincer, Sargent, and Sparks. Sturgill was also named to the Champions of Character team.
