Crossville, TN – The University of Pikeville men's golf team finished up play in the MSC Spring Showcase this afternoon. The tournament was hosted by the Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain Golf Course. UPIKE finished in 11th place after shooting 339 as a team on Tuesday and 981 overall.
Leading the way for the Bears was
Blake Maupin, who finished in a tie for 13th, with a total of 230 (76, 70, 84). He carded seven birdies over his three rounds, and an eagle in round one.
Nate Feese shot a 246 for UPIKE (78, 84, 84), good for a tie for 46th place. He had one birdie, coming in round one.
Also competing for the Bears was
Broc Crist (249),
Tyler Ford (256), and
Nick Garrett (273). Crist had four birdies, while Ford and Garrett had two.
What's Up Next
The Bears finish up their 2021-22 season in Bowling Green, KY at the Mid-South Conference Championship hosted at Bowling Green Country Club. Play begins on Monday, April 25th and concludes on Tuesday, April 26th.
