ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. – The University of Pikeville men's golf team wrapped up the 2025-26 campaign this week in the AAC Direct Qualifier at Barnsley Resort.

The Bears finished 12
th in the field, shooting a three-round score of 965 at the Par 72, 6,966-yard course.

It was a solid season for the Bears, who were ranked 45
th in the nation and posted four wins for the second consecutive season. The team broke the single-season scoring average, a record that had stood since the 2014-15 campaign.

It was also a solid season for junior
Kaeden Anderson, who broke the single-season scoring record. The previous mark was set in 2014-15 by Will Boyd.

This week, Anderson finished Tied for 20
th in the field of 78 golfers competing with a 54-hole score of 234. His score was highlighted by a final round 73 to move him up 17 places.

Senior
Jon Bryant followed with a score of 241 to finish tied for 36
th. Junior
Peyton Compton was one stroke behind Bryant at 242 for the week.

Freshman
Eli Shope fired a score of 251.

The 2025-26 Bears broke 13 school records this season, the fifth under the guidance of former UPike standout
Dustyn Reinstetle.
