PRESTONSBURG, Ky. – The University of Pikeville men's golf team hosted Spring Invite this week and stormed to the title.

The Bears shot 11-over at the par 72, 7,011-yard Stonecrest Golf Course.

The real race was for second place, which was taken by Rochester (Mich.), which shot 56-over par, finishing four strokes ahead of Ohio Christian.

UPike junior
Kaeden Anderson also cruised to the singles title, shooting 4-under 140 to win by six strokes. He beat teammate
Peyton Compton, who finished second.

Freshman
Eli Shope was third in the field, firing 148.

Senior
Cameron Bergman was fifth, firing a seven-over 147. Senior
Jon Bryant finished at nine-over par.

Grant Burkhart was also in the Top 10, finishing at 153.

The Bears will return to action April 19-22 in the AAC Conference Championship in Adairsville, Ga.
