Pikeville, KY – Esports wrapped up a successful spring campaign Friday evening with a 2-0 victory over Ottowa University in the League of Legends MSC vs KCAC showdown.

Game one

The Bears gained early advantage to begin the invitational, striking with the first kill. The upperhand allowed the Bears to carry momentum into the mid-game play, executing a strong team fight. Securing the game one victory was Lucas Bouey (Gray Fawx) with a massive ultimate.

Game Two

Channeling Jacob Yoh (Circus)'s top worldwide ranking with the "Shaco" champion, the Bears secured the coveted assassin in champion select. At the start of the match, Bouey once again came through with a huge invade, allowing UPKE to control the map and vision. The game was fast and saw Yoh deliver an MVP performance with 10 kills, three deaths, and three assists.

The Bears will spend the offseason preparing for a fall campaign that will feature new players, new games, and momentum after the spring successes.
