Gulf Shores, AL – Bears sophomore
Noah Thomas competed in the discus throw Thursday afternoon at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships for the second season in a row. He finished with a toss of 42.23m, as he concludes his 2021-22 season.
Thomas earned several accolades this season, including being the first Bear in program history to be named Mid-South Conference Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year after scoring 26 points at the MSC Outdoor Championships. He became the first individual MSC Champion (Hammer Throw) and was named First and Second Team All-Conference during the outdoor season and Second and Third Team All-Conference during the indoor season. He was also the first Bear to compete in the NAIA Indoor National Championships, competing in the weight throw.
