Norman, Okla. – For the first time in program history, UPIKE men's golf had two student-athletes named Srixon/Cleveland Golf NAIA All-America Scholars. Broc Crist and Blake Maupin both earned the distinction, two of sixty from NAIA schools nationwide.

To be eligible for the award, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically. They must have participated in 50 percent of their teams' competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 a maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2.

Wrapping up his junior campaign in the spring of 2022, Crist played 21 rounds for the Bears and averaged 77.33. His lowest round of the season came at the MSC Fall Classic in November where he shot a 73. The St. Clairsville, Ohio native has rose the ranks within the program, becoming one of the Bears top performers a season ago, landing five top-10 finishes. He adds Srixon/Cleveland Golf NAIA All-America Scholar to his repertoire which includes an All-MSC Academic selection.

Maupin has established himself as one of the top performers in the conference in recent years, nabbing his first career win at the Georgetown Collegiate Invitational last fall. In 2021-22, Maupin shot four rounds at par or better which is second in program history. Maupin collected six top-10 finishes over the course of the season and was named Second Team All-MSC and Academic All-MSC.
