JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The University of Pikeville men's golf team wrapped up play in the East Tennessee Collegiate at the 6,501-yard, par 72 Johnson City Country Club, finishing third in the event.

The Bears had a 36-hole total of 590 (298-292), coming in behind tournament winner Roane State Community College of Harriman, Tenn., and Milligan University. Roane State ran away with the tournament with a two-day score of 565 (283-282), a score of 6-under par, while Milligan wrapped it up with a 578 (288-290).

Pikeville sophomore
Jonathan Bryant finished in a six-way tie for third place, scoring an even-par 144. He followed an opening-day 74 with a two-under 70 on Tuesday.

Roane State's Louie Stott shot a blistering 9-under par for the tournament, shooting 66-69. Teammate Kieran McCarthy followed at 2-under (73-69).

Broc Crist finished tied for 12
th at 147 (73-74) to finish second among the Bears. Freshman
Kobe Ingram finished 17
th with a 149 (76-73), followed by sophomore
Lawson Hon's 150 (75-75).

Blake Maupin shot 153 (76-77).

Playing as an individual, junior
Tyler Ford recorded a 148 (75-73).

The Bears will return to action on Oct. 9-10 when they travel to Memphis, Tenn., to play in the NAIA Memphis Shootout at TPC Southwind.
