WALESKA, Ga. - Appalachian Athletic Conference officials announced that University of Pikeville track and field sophomore Zeke Hagley is this week's AAC men's track and field athlete of the week.  

The announcement comes after Hagley's performance at the Landon Bond Classic 2025. Hagley finished first in the men's shot put, second in the discus throw, second in the hammer throw, and scored 26 team points for UPIKE. In the shot put, Hagley won the event by over one meter and set a new personal best with his mark in the hammer throw.  

It is Hagley's third AAC men's track and field athlete of the week honor and the fourth of his UPIKE career.  

Hagley and the track and field Bears will return to action in Danville, Ky., for the Centre Invitational hosted by Centre College this Friday and Saturday.
