WALESKA, Ga. - Officials of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released the 2025 softball conference awards Tuesday evening.
The AAC recognizes and honors student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom with academic all-conference honors. To qualify for academic honors, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior, senior, fifth-year, or graduate student and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
The academic all-conference honorees for the 2025 UPIKE softball team are Sara Bays, Clara Blair, Chloe Bryant, Samantha Case, Kaden Dunlap, Cassie Finley, Vanessa Fuzie, Kendall Hillard, Cailyn Holbrook, Addison Johnson, Haleigh Jones, Zoey Keeton, Maria McClellan, Balea McCoy, Alissa Miles, Alexa Muha, Emma Muncy, Ashlyn Patrick, Karsen Prichard, and Molly Turner.
The AAC also recognizes members of the Champions of Character Team. Those nominated to the Champions of Character Team are chosen by their coaches for best exhibiting leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core values the NAIA embraces, which are respect, integrity, responsibility, servant leadership, and sportsmanship. Representing UPIKE on the 2025 AAC Softball Champions of Character Team is sophomore Emma Muncy.
