ACWORTH, Ga. – The University of Pikeville women's golf team completed play in the 2025 AAC Conference Championships, held Monday and Tuesday at Governor's Town Club.

The Bears finished fourth in the eight-team event with a three-round score of 923.

SCAD Atlanta was the champion, winning with a 54-hole score of 902. It finished nine shots ahead of Truett McConnell (Ga.) University, which was at 911. Milligan (Tenn.) University shot 916, followed by UPike.

The Bears posted rounds of 303 and 305 on Monday and followed it with a 315 on Tuesday.

Carly Crooks rallied with Tuesday's best score of one-under par to finish tied for third with a score of 225. She trailed only Milligan's Katie Castle (212) and SCAD Atlanta's Marianna Herrera (218) and was even with SCAD Atlanta's Barbara Rodriguez.

Lauren Holmes recorded a Top 10 finish with a score of 231. She was just ahead of junior
Renee Crooks, who tied for 11
th at 233, and sophomore
Tayla Howroyd, who tied for 13
th with a score of 234.

Laney Sorrell shot 285.

UPike now awaits the announcement of the NAIA field for the national tournament, which will be held May 13-16 in Ypsilanti, Mich., at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
