WALESKA, Ga. - Officials of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released the AAC Women's Golf end-of-season awards Friday evening. Among the awards released were all-conference honors, academic all-conference, and the Champions of Character Team.
Earning first team all-AAC honors was junior Carly Crooks. Crooks, a native of Toronto, Ontario, earned all-tournament honors after finishing one under par and third overall at the 2025 AAC Conference Championships last weekend. Earning second team all-AAC honors was junior Lauren Holmes. Holmes, a native of Lawrenceburg, Ky., finished tenth overall at last weekend's conference tournament.
The AAC recognizes student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom with academic all-conference recognition. To be nominated for academic all-AAC honors, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior, senior, fifth-year, or graduate student and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale. UPIKE women's golf had nine honorees. They are Sophia Beverly, Carley Crooks, Renee Crooks, Lauren Hawkins, Lauren Holmes, Tayla Howroyd, Taylor Messer, Sophia Sims, and Caden Stiltner.
